This card flies under the radar by Ben Smithson, Senior Writer

There are plenty of valuable travel credit cards with annual fees under $100 to choose from, but one that doesn’t get enough attention, in my opinion, is the Citi Strata Premier℠ Card.

For a limited time, you can earn 75,000 bonus Citi ThankYou points after spending $4,000 in the first three months from account opening. This welcome bonus is worth $1,350, according to TPG’s March 2025 valuations.

ThankYou points can be transferred to 14 airline and four hotel loyalty programs, including popular options like Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Emirates Skywards, JetBlue TrueBlue and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. I recently redeemed my ThankYou points for my partner's business-class flight home from South Korea on Air France next month, which he’s very excited about.

So far, this sounds like a pretty standard midrange travel rewards card, right?

Well, the Citi Strata Premier Card really shines in terms of earning rates. I earn 3 points per dollar spent on air travel, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, gas and EV charging stations. I can’t think of another card that earns 3 points per dollar in so many categories where I spend regularly.

And when I book travel through the CitiTravel.com portal, I earn an incredible 10 points per dollar spent on hotels, car rentals and attractions. I also receive $100 off a single hotel stay of $500 or more once per year (excluding taxes and fees) when booked through CitiTravel.com.

For only a $95 annual fee, this versatile card is packed with so many benefits, and I don’t know why it isn’t on more travelers' radars. Don't wait too long if you are considering adding the Citi Strata Premier to your wallet. This limited-time offer for 75,000 bonus points ends soon.
